Production Supervisor
Production Oversight :
- Support team leaders with all matters related to production management.
- Guide employees to meet the organization’s expectations regarding productivity, quality, and the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Onboarding and Integration: Carry out the required activities in accordance with the company’s employee onboarding and integration process.
- Performance Evaluation: Complete evaluation forms and present them to employees in accordance with the company’s evaluation process. Ensure that skills development activities for staff proceed smoothly.
- Communication: Facilitate regular team meetings to keep staff informed.
- Engagement: Motivate employees to achieve shared goals by fostering a healthy environment and a pleasant, productive work atmosphere.
- Feedback: Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition or appropriate disciplinary measures, with the assistance of Human Resources as needed.
- Corporate Culture: Share and foster the company’s culture across all departments, emphasizing the mission, vision, and values.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform all administrative tasks (timesheets, leave requests, etc.)
Serving as a leader in health, safety, and environment:
- by ensuring compliance with and enforcement of health, safety, and environment policies and procedures,
- by taking a proactive approach to identifying potential risks,
- by raising awareness among employees,
- etc.
- Develop strategies to improve communication and optimize productivity using best-practice tools (Lean, 5S, etc.) in collaboration with the Production Manager and the Continuous Improvement Coordinator.
- Participate in multidisciplinary working groups to implement sustainable solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in production management in a manufacturing environment;
- College or university-level education in management or engineering; a DEP in welding or any other relevant field;
- Any training in health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement is considered an asset.
