Compensation

• Competitive starting salary, ranging from $19.38/hr to $24.85/hr depending on experience ;
• Salary progression based on your Valtech experience, leading to a maximum salary of $31.15/hour ;
• Annual salary increase based on your performance ;
• Evening shift premium of $1.50 per hour. 

Flexible work schedule

• Fixed day or evening shift ;
• Evening shift over 4 days (4 p.m. to 2 a.m.) ;
• Day shift: 2 schedule choices. Finishes at 11:30 a.m. on Fridays.

Your Challenge

• MIG welding of hexmesh parts on tanks, cyclones, piping, etc. (mild steel, stainless steel and exotic alloys) ;
• Working with different metals ; 
• Read and interpret drawings and plans ;
• Reading a tape measure ; 
• Safe use of grinder ; 
• Maintaining your welding machine ; 
• Keep work environment clean and safe ;
• Working at heights and in confined spaces ; 
• Safely operate an overhead crane ; 
• All other related day laborer tasks.

You have the following skills

• Experience in MIG welding - An asset ;
• You are able to do repetitive work ;
